WIP it good

It has been two weeks since I made a bold statement: to at least submit 2-3 works per week.  Well that didn't turn out as planned.  To be fair though, the excuses were acceptable but I wont delve into that.  Tonight I finally made my second post.

The piece is still a work in progress; very early in the conceptualization stage.  I actually started on this the other night and didn't get the chance continue yesterday.  Haven't got a name for this guy yet but his character is taking its shape.  It started off as a spaceman then with countless tweaks, he became very agile stealthy kind of mercenary or assassin.  I also started on studies of poses for him to get that agile feel.

Hope this project doesn't get set aside as I have plans for this to be modeled in 3d.  On the other hand, I tend to jumble artworks slowly developing each one.  It's pretty much like blocking of  drawings or 3d models.  The artist work on where his eyes take him.  In this case, I work on those that fits my mood at the moment.  It lessens pressure on me to finish stuff and at the same time keep my interest on all of them.

So it begins

forest pathway

No one should have idle hands for too long, specially an artist.  Well I did.  Now, I just feel rusty when starting any work be it in drawing and modeling.  I tend to lose interest fast because of exhaustion as I have lost endurance in doing an artwork.  It has been my problem all these years and I am finally making a stand against it by using this site to keep me posted and up to date on my progress.

To start things, I did a sketch of a small part of a forest.

Also, I should be posting at least 2-3 works a week starting this weekend.  Motivation, come at me bro!
